I just wrote a comment on an article at The Bribery Act that is so long it probably deserves its own post here. But instead, I’ll just link to it.
David Simon from Foley & Lardner wrote a great piece. I disagree with it. But reasonable people can often disagree, and I respect David’s take.
Even though he’s wrong.
In my opinion.
UPDATE, 5/15: Definitely worth checking that post out. Tom Fox just took me out to the woodshed in a follow-up comment. But not to worry; my head is bloody, but unbowed. I’ll be fighting back—in a respectful, collegial way, of course—later tonight.
